You timidly poke your head into Zexion's library. Good, noone's home. Taking a deep breath, you sneak over to his desk. Just being here makes you feel as though you're doing something wrong. You know that guilt is nothing compared to what you're going to feel once you've accomplished your mission though.
You slowly open one of the drawers, and start to shuffle through the many papers he's written, looking for a certain bound manuscript. You find something that might be it, and decide that you're happy with that. Sighing with relief that this part is over, you turn around to exit the library.
And slam straight into Zexion.
You stare up at him, and for a split second you once more mourn the fact that you are shorter than him. You shove the thought out of your mind, however, and start trying to come up with excuses as to why you're in his lair.
"Hi Zexion!" You say, attempting to sound cheery, and not guilty. "What are you doing in my library?" He asks, unconvinced. You start to sneak away from him; being so close to his body is making you feel uncomfortable. "Oh you know, nothing much, just reading some books,"
He steps closer to you, making escape impossible. Along with your breathing. "I have some trouble believing that," He says, holding out his hand to take back the manuscript you've stolen. "Um," You say, trying to assemble your thoughts. He sighs, and reaches around your back to take it from you.
Then he sees what you've taken. His eyes open wide. "Who told you about this?" "Nobody," You innocently lie, and pause for a second to be surprised at how convincing your voice sounded. Then you realize the irony behind your statement.
He seems to have realized it before you had. "Are you sure?" You catch a glimpse of anger in his eyes, if that was at all possible.
The thought of Zexion being angry at you causes what remains of the little resolve you had in the first place to break down. You point at the door. "They did, ok? They told me to come in here and take it."
You hear two muffled voices say "Oh crap!" The words are quickly followed by the sound of thudding footsteps as Axel and Roxas run away.
"That's what I thought." Zexion says smugly. Then he hands the manuscript back to you. "Here you go." You hold it in your hands for a moment, sputtering something along the lines of "But I thought that this was yours, and that you didn't want anyone to take it,"
He shakes his head. "No, this is yours. I wrote it for you." You look up at him, and notice an expectant smile on his face. This takes you by surprise. He never smiles. "Oh, well, I'll go read it then." You smile, and quickly walk to the guest room where you've been staying.
Your thoughts are scrambled as you sit down and start reading it, but soon you are lost in an epic story of romance, one that eerily resembles your relationship with him. The main protagonist, a character you suppose is loosely based off of Zexion's personality, has had his heart stolen away by an evil witch. Soon after this happens, a girl comes into his life, and she gives him a new determination to get his heart back.
But it seems as though his fate is as tragic as one would assume. His heart cannot be taken back; the witch has consumed it. Upon learning of his fate, he destroys the witch, nearly destroying himself in the process. The girl whom he would have loved finds him in this state, and takes him to a healer so that he would live. But the healer can do nothing for him, for he has lost the will to live without a heart.
When she heard the truth, she sacrificed her own heart, giving it to him, so that he would live. Because she had loved him from the first time that they had met, and she would have no reason to go on living without him. So he regained what he had lost, and they were eternally bound to one another.
When you finally finish it, tears have started coming to your eyes. You quickly get up and start walking back to his library, knowing that even though it's been several hours, at least, he'll be there. You knock on the doors, trying to be polite. "Come in," You hear him say. You open the doors quietly, and shut them behind you. "It was beautiful," You say, using the only word you can think of to describe the story. A small smile appears on his face. "I thought you would like it."
"So, why did you write this for me?" You ask, curious. He gets up from the settee where he was reading, and stands close to you. "Because you are my reason to exist."
Your mouth opens wide. What had he just said to you again?
He smiles when he sees that you're so surprised. "I know it may be a surprise to you, but we nobodies need something to strive for. We can't just go on without a purpose." He steps closer to you, wrapping an arm around your waist. "You have become my purpose."
You can't believe what you're hearing. "Are you, are you really serious?" You ask, timidly placing a hand on his cheek. He closes his eyes, and leans into your hand. "Yes." He opens his eyes again, and smiles. You stand on your very tiptoes, and gently press your lips against his. He seems surprised for a moment, but slowly, he places his hand against the back of your neck, deepening the kiss.
You're the one that pulls back, due to your need to breathe. You wrap your arms around him and hold him close. "I love you too," You barely whisper. You feel his face press against the top of your head. "Thank you." He says, his voice muffled by your hair.
You stand there for a long time, enjoying each other's embrace.

For Zexion Lovers
It was a cold, rainy day in the world that never was, and you were in Zexion's library, sitting on one of the soft, cushy sofas reading your book. It wasn't a very good book, and the main reason you were in the library pretending to read was because of Zexion.
Ever since you first joined the Organization you had always been interested in him. You loved the way his hair hung in his breath taking eyes, the way he hardly ever spoke, the way he was so mysterious
You sigh quietly, if only you had the nerve to tell Zexion about your feelings about him, but you were too shy.

For Zexion Lovers
You walk to the pristine white doors leading to Zexion's library. You pull on the handle but the door is locked. He's been in there for two days now.
"Not again," you say to yourself, as frustrated as a nobody can get. Axel stops short behind you, coming back to stand next to you.
"What's up?" he asks you.
"Zexion locked himself in his library again," you tell him.
"Why do you care?" he says laughing at his little joke.
"Ha ha, very funny," you say with an irritated glare. "Can you just open the door?"
"Huh, why can't you?" he says mockingly.
"You're so much stronger than me so I thought you could do it Axel," you say feigning whatever

You walk into Zexion's library and find him sitting at his desk, head in his hands, blowing at his long bangs absentmindedly.
"Hey Zexion, whats up?"
He leaned back in his chair with a heavy sigh, "Nothing, absolutely nothing."
You went to the front of his desk, "Whats wrong?"
He growled, "As of today, it is official. I have read every single book in this library!"
He paused, then continued, "Twice!"
He slammed his fist on the table and glared at nothing in particular.
You think for a moment,
"Have you ever been to any library other than this one?"
Zexion shook his head.
You smile, "Would you like to accompany me to a new library? T

Yes, I know, this overflows with fluff, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyways.
And in other news, this was also written at my grandparent's house. Not that that would really interest anyone.
