For Demyx Lovers

           "Oh my gosh, it's way too hot out here!" Your hyper friend exclaims. "I'm gonna head back home, do you want to come with me?" You shake your head. "Nah, I think I'll stay here a little while longer." Her eyes widen and she starts walking away. "Alright, I'll see you later." She waves as you seek a place to sit down in the shade.  
           You find a decent place, close to a tree, and sit back on the grass. You close your eyes, considering taking a nap. Then someone splashes water on your face.
           You jump up, wiping the cold drops off of your face. "Who did that?!" You hear a familiar snicker. You close your eyes, taking a deep breath. "Demyx?" The word comes out of your mouth like a hiss.
           Another splash hits the back of your head. You jump and turn around to see him start to run away, laughing like a maniac. "Demyx!" You scream. "Come back here!" You chase after him. He's running casually, and you catch up to him easily in your enraged fit of speed.
           You pummel him. "Hey!" He screams as he hits the ground. You try to catch your breath, sitting on top of him; your hands are pinning his shoulders down. "What . . . what was that for?" You ask.
           He laughs again. "I just thought you looked pretty hot, and that I should cool you off."
           "Well thank you very much but I was actually fi--" You start to say, and then realize the double meaning in his sentence. You shut your mouth and awkwardly lumber off of his body, freeing him. He sits up, still smiling. "So are you better now?"
            You halfway laugh. "What do you think? I just chased you and knocked you onto the ground!" He nods. "True. So I'll take that as you're just as hot as before." He winks, and you simply stare at him. "What?" He asks. You shake your head. "Nothing, I guess."
            "Demyx!" You hear Axel call, and turn to see the redhead approaching. "Dude, what are you still doing in this world? Mansex is gonna freak when he finds out we're behind sched--"                
             Demyx blasts him with a spray of water.
             "OH MY GOD!!" Axel screams, and crumples to the ground like a wilted flower. "It's so wet . . . and cold . . ." He starts to whimper, and it's all you can do to not laugh. A dark portal opens up not two seconds later, and Roxas steps through.
             He sees the whimpering nobody on the ground next to you. "Axel?" He turns to see the two of you. His glare focuses on the hysterically laughing boy sitting by you. "Demyx." Demyx manages to stop laughing, but his grin still remains.
             Roxas somehow gets Axel to stand up, and shoots one last glare at Demyx before portalling off to help his friend dry off again. Demyx turns back to you. "Well, now that that's over with," "Why did you do that?" You ask, still trying not to laugh.
             "He was interrupting!" He says, looking at you with intense green eyes. You feel your heart start to hammer, but you know it's ridiculous. He is, after all, a nobody. He can't feel the same about you.
             But as a small smile forms on the edges of his lips, you can't help but wonder if that last thought is really true or not.
             You clear your throat, casting those thoughts from your mind. "Interrupting what?" He grins, and looks away from you for a moment. "Are you sure you want to know?" He finally says, looking at you again. "Um," You say, unsure. "I guess so . . . ?"
             His eyes seem to sparkle, and he laughs. "Alright, you asked for it!" He pulls you close to him, to where your face is unbearably close to his. "He was interrupting," He says, his cool breath blowing over your cheeks, "this."
             He presses his lips to yours in a painfully sweet kiss.
             A thousand thoughts run through your head in the same instant. Why was he doing this? He didn't have emotions, did he? Then how could this kiss be so sweet, so meaningful?
             He pulls back, and lets you go. You almost fall face first into the ground. You take a few breaths, and look up to see him smiling at you. How could he just go back to normal after that?                
              Of course, he was a nobody, a kiss would have no real significance to him, would it? You suddenly feel very used, and frustrated tears start coming to your eyes.
              You get up and briskly walk away. "Wha . . .? Hey, wait!" You hear him call, but ignore him. You feel a hand grab your arm, and another gently wrap around your waist. He turns you around. "Why did you just run away?" He asks, then sees that you're crying. "And why are you crying?"
              You sigh, and the tears stop falling. "I'll tell you if you tell me why you kissed me." He leans his head to one side. "Shouldn't that be obvious? Most of the time, when a guy kisses a girl, it means he likes her." You nod. "But you don't like me, I mean, you can't like me." He shakes his head and leans his face closer to yours.
              "Geez, just because I'm a nobody," He starts to mutter, and kisses you again. "Doesn't mean I can't have feelings." He finishes after pulling back. You take a deep breath, and playfully smack him on the face. "Hey!" He says, flustered. "What was that for?"
              You laugh at his reaction. "That's for getting me with the water earlier." His eyes widen. "You're still upset about that?" You nod solemnly. He puts his hand up to his chin for second, thinking. "Ok then."
              And before you have a chance to respond, he douses you with an entire wave.
              You sputter and pull a few drenched locks from your face. You put your hand up to smack him again, and a lot harder this time, but then you see that he's completely soaked too. You start to laugh hysterically at his drenched hair. He chuckles. "Yeah yeah, I know it looks funny when it's wet."
              "DEMYX!!" You hear Saix call. He grimaces. "Uh, I think I'd better go," You nod. He briskly kisses your forehead. "Wish me luck!"
              With a flash of darkness and a wave, he is gone.

              The next day you get a text from Roxas, saying that you should come visit Demyx. Apparently Axel had gotten a hold of him shortly after he returned, and he would be spending a few days in the medical room.
              You laugh and go about finding some flowers to bring him.
